Industrial wastewater permits [microform], 1974-[ongoing]

Applications, public notices, permits, permit modifications, facility contact forms, discharge monitoring report forms, violation forms, sludge management forms, groundwater monitoring forms, and other related forms and correspondence. Series was created in conjunction with the 1972 federal Water Pollution Control Act (P.L. 92-500) and chapter 147, Wis. Stats. Discharging pollutants into any state water or disposing sludge is unlawful without a permit from the DNR. Series contains Wisconsin Pollution Discharge Elimination System permits and documents necessary to obtain permits, monitor, and enforce standards set by these permits. Technical direction for this program can be found in the DNR Wastewater Operations Handbook 3405.
